I just think he’s the kind of player who needs an arm around him and let him feel a part of it. There’s enough good about his game he’s shown this season especially with some of the assists he’s provided. The one to Croasdale at home to Donny was really high level stuff so it’s all in there. That time he had all those assists were when he had a consistent run and we played 4-2-3-1 with him in the 10 spot rather than out wide.

I remember pre-season, the fella who goes to watch the training sessions commented that Tolaj got in his own head a lot in training. He got dog's abuse for suggesting it.

A tangent really, but with Carlisle 23rd, Cheltenham 15th, and Fleetwood 13th, with FGR doing a double dip the year before and Morecambe and Accrington not being far off, I can't help but feel a lot of gratitude towards Carol. We haven't got a divine right to be sat top.

She's chucked millions at us, again, and we're sat top with 10,000 attendances and proper tasty games to look forward to. I'm genuinely enjoying being a PVFC fan regardless of what happens this year.

I really don't think she should be taken for granted. She, as with every owner, has flaws, but she keeps burning money on this silly little football club and genuinely wants the best for the area. It couldn't be more different to the first 20 years of my Vale-supporting life.

Like, we might lose on Saturday and not be top of the 4th tier! Our poorly former midfielder and his Walsall acolytes will post things on the internet! We may not even go up this year! 

Whilst none of the above is ideal, you can sort of zoom out for a minute and see how rosy things are in the long-run. We can react game-by-game or we can see the direction of travel.

PVFC has not been in a better place since the 90s in terms of home attendances (highest since the 90s), academy products (best in decades), financial investment from owners, memorable games, promotion-contending campaigns, engagement with our history and legends. It's absolutely class. You Carol!

Completely disagree. We have seen the quality he has. Unfortunately the manager makes 3/4 changes every game and it’s not easy for players like Tolaj to impress when they are in and out of the side. Others have had similar criticisms of Curtis and Chislett as well. For me he is an excellent league 2 player. We just need to give him a run in the side, same with Paton. When we were playing well he was a huge part of it then randomly left out. Just needs game time. 
 

I agree about Hackford though, id send him back. 

I think it will be 6-2 to the moaners on Saturday 😁

Would be happy if we broke 10k. It's dragging around the shops, Christmas booze and trips to see santa time of year. Not me though, I will be there.

Interesting g comments about the team here for Saturday. Should Jayden be rested? I kind of thing he should be as hes worked his nutz off for weeks and weeks now and does seem to be off the boil a little bit with goals atm.

Having said that his tracking and defensive work is very good. Maybe he just needs a goal to get that part of his game back on track. 

Whatever the team is we defo need some pace against these as they are vulnerable at the back so I can see at least Rico starting and fingers crossed for Rauri.
