This is going to be a big summer for Plant now. I really hope we settle on a position for him to play in now than just shunt him round the lineup plugging whatever gaps there are. It’s really done him a disservice. No more shoehorning him as a wingback. I felt so sorry for him up against Mason-Clark at Peterborough the other week when he was powerless to stop him.

Ojo is in his 30s and has 2 years on his contract. He’s been here 2 years already so we can assume that he and his family are settled. He’s vice-captain and a regular player - perhaps played the most of any player under Moore?

Im not sure why he’d leave, or why a League 1 club would choose to take on his 2 year deal. They might offer him 1, but why would he accept that?

I’d be shocked if he’s not here next season, starting - and I’m not a fan of his.

We might shift a couple of others, but who in their right mind is taking Loft, Grant, or Lowe’s contract on? We widely say they’re awful, never want to see them again. Do you think clubs are stupid enough to offer them a comparable wage?

We’re lumped with this squad for another year. 

Ojo doesn’t want to be here he will be off, players are forever moving clubs regardless of contracts

Im not bothered how Moore sounds or what he says. I remember fans kicking off at Clarke’s abrasiveness towards Bowers when he didn’t win for 7. We came to love it.

That’s a serious amount of incomings then mate which I can’t see happening. Wouldn’t mind a couple of them around the squad like Plant & Shorrock. I’d be sending Walters ( if he signs ) & Lomax out on loan tho & hopefully keep Dipepa I think he would be fine around the squad at that level

I actually think Ojo would do ok in League 2 but as you say he hasn't wanted to be here since Crosby left

Exactly. Ability wise I would like to keep Ojo he would be a stand out in league 2 when he feels like it. That’s the problem, really bad attitude we don’t want or need that

Don't worry about me - my mental attitude is still better than many of the morons on here - including yours. But I've been with the Vale through relegations before which is why I don't stamp my feet and throw my dummy out of the pram...or yap yap yap like some of you.  My "ramblings"? Some of you can't even read properly, but I don't believe I've written anything but the truth. 
As for my absence - it has nothing to do with not being paid by Flitcroft - which is very nearly libellous - but more to do with my recovering from having half a leg amputated! I rarely have to worry about the upset I may cause people on here - my personal attacks are mostly in response to being attacked.
So - I won't be around as much for a while...but I'll be in the disabled sector more, next season, now that some pain has gone away...leaving just a few pains on here!
Looking forward to a rebuild, and another promotion season, next time round! UTYV VTID Happy Claooers rule!!!

It could be argued that the team that takes Vale up should be the team which consolidates a place in League one. 

Of course, that didn't happen in the second season because most players who took Vale up had left... So what do you expect when the owner and so called dof don't replace them and turn the side into a revolving fleet of Premiership loanees???
