He came through at Wigan originally before they sold him to Brighton, I didn’t realise that. Seems like Cambridge and Morecambe fans thought he did well for them. With last season being a season to forget with us and Blackpool. I think it’s easy in football for suitors of a player to write off a bad season and focus on the good stuff that they know players have shown previously. 

Personally I hope he does well for them. I think we as a club on the whole were more the problem last season, especially with the make up of the squad we assembled.

I relate very strongly to your views. Like many, last season left me very flat. The recruitment over the summer was very seductive. I started to believe (fall for) the rhetoric and the positive vibes that was growing. Barrow was a reality check.

Whilst I'd love us to hit the ground running and have a great season from the off, it is unlikely.

Looks like we will receive our sell on percentage at the end of the loan given it’s a mandatory buy clause

We'll get a sell on from whatever PSV pay City for him.  And we may well get something from any future sell ons.  Newcastle sold Toney to Peterborough and got a sell on when he went to Brentford.  Apparently, they will get more when he buggers off to Saudi.
