Fantastic player Brisco was for the Vale.

Not the most technically gifted but a real competitor, would tackle anything that moved and run through brick walls for the team.

True, a real grafter. Didn’t shy away from anything & a great team player.

Christ he's back!

Fully expecting us to sign 18 triallists, 17 more strikers, all of whom will be "world class" while Gareth lies on the floor salivating about "Chizzy" and "Gaz" while thinking we'll win 46 games on the trot.

I am expecting a lot more than that tbf he needs to raise his ambitions 😁

I worked with Neil at Stoke Heath, quite bizarre, I was sitting in the wing officer with him, drinking tea out of my LDV winners mug…..

[emoji26] dodged a bullet and got sponds for him, guess you never know when an injury like that will actually happen but I wonder if yak wasn’t close to match fit and if not how does that get allowed when your a pro footballer under a contract?

DM did say that he needed extra training so looks like they just threw him in

I am assuming that a couple of the trialists might take part in today's game

You’d think so mate, with 3 weeks until the season opener it gives Moore another chance to look at them in a game. Ideally he’s going to want to have pretty much his squad for this season by next weekend, that’s 2 weeks then for them to gel together. Of course there is always late business like deadline day & even once the season is under way. He did say he wanted the majority done early ✍️

You would think that any trialists we sign will be back up as I am still expecting an experienced CB to come in and at least one full back
