The lad on right looks like Sadat Anaku, who UV tweeted about last weekend. He also featured for Vale against Coventry in the friendly last Saturday, and can be seen on YouTube video posted by their official media team. Unsure about the lad on the left - he looks a big unit though.

    Someone I know has just been to the club shop and says Smith and Chislett are their… despite rumours from Good Old Gareth that they weren’t.

    They did arrive separately though along with George Byers so didn’t train with the others.

    Don’t think it looks anything like Hector myself, looks a lot younger but as you say the photo isn’t great is it

    Looks a similar build to that bloke Wrexham had in defence when Birchall was playing for Trinidad. Dennis Lawrence, obviously not him of course.

    “It definitely hurt, big time. Especially for a centre half. It’s not nice and I don’t wish it on anyone. It makes you stronger and hopefully, I will bring these experiences with me and know what not to do.”

    Tried upscaling with AI but struggling to find a "David" who looks similar.

    Timothy Eyoma was at Lincoln was one possibility I saw?
