To be honest anyone giving him more than that at this stage has got more money than sense. Not a risk you can take. Nothing but gratitude for what he did here but I’m glad we made the call to move on.

Sadly some players are just this way whether their bodies can’t hold up physically or it’s more psychological. Same as Manny Oyeleke beforehand, great player ability wise but what good is he if you’re struggling get more than half a season from them?

True mate. I’d have him as 4th choice still tho over loft 😂 Stockley, Tolaj, Dipepa & Wilson would be some strike force in league 2. But the correct decision was made unfortunately but technically they’ll admire his skills when he’s on the pitch that’s for sure but even when he’s been available & played in league 1 for us he hasn’t been good enough. Sadly he’s probably a league 2 player now in regards to his level due to his injuries I’m suprised he’s stayed in that division to be honest. I think that's the best he could hope for really with his injury record

Wilson plays well Vale played well ,Wilson doesn't play Vale lose or draw and generally played rubbish .

We see a glimpse of excellence then we don't see him for weeks on end .

Good luck to the lad that's all I will say .

Thanks for the memories cause two of best recent supporting days in history he starred in both .

Swindon and Mansfield 

 

However on other foot some players get a shirt most weeks and fans up and down the country are scratching there heads as to why .

Has 38yr old keeper Tom Heaton got the easiest job in football,he has been at Man Utd for 3 or 4 years and not played a game and just signed another 1yr deal 🙂

I couldn’t agree with you more, that would be some strike force. 

I’m slightly bias when it comes to Wilson, as I think he’s fantastic. There has always been question marks around his availability over the course of a season, but I think a deal structured in our favour would have been beneficial for our squad this season.

I genuinely hope he smashes it at Northampton 👊🏻

I do think it’s the right move but when we’ve still got Loft on the books I can make a point for it 🤣 hope he does well. Unfortunately I don’t think it’ll be long until he’s sidelined with some sort of injury. It’s sad because it’s ruined his career really in regards to playing at the top level which I have no doubt he would of continued to do albeit for his injury record. But then again we wouldn’t have seen him play for the Vale & give us those brilliant memories. So in a selfish way I’m kinda glad he fell down the leagues 😬

Not quite as good as Scott Carson with his humongous medal haul at Man City.
