Was looking at the best poster on Twitter earlier (PVFCProgs) and it was the last game of 2007. We beat Bournemouth 2-1. Finished 12th in division 1 with on paper an average side which contained however 2 strikers in Constantine and Akpo. 

Not rocket science is it.

I agree with Mellor about the season just gone when he was a free agent,we maybe should of gone there before Charlton when we were desperate but personally i wouldn't be going for him now as there will be a lot more available this summer

So you’d take him in league 1 but not in a division below 🤔 ok then 😂 never competing with Charlton in regards to wages even if we had gone in for him. He’s a free agent now 🤷‍♂️

Dithering gets you league 2 football as its proven why wasn't a player or two (strikers )brought in Jan .

Surely there had of a being a non league striker  bang up for it .

The reality is not speculate to accumulate,  it's speculate to lose even more money. There is no business sense in investing at any level in football.

There are a few players,I know someone who watches mainly national league/north/south players on a regular basis and although they haven't mentioned Sbarra,they have said there are plenty who could do a job higher up the leagues including Conn-Clarke at Altrincham as an attacking midfielder

 

Just got the NLS playoff final on and Ollie Pearce has just scored a lovely goal for Worthing. Him being 28 now probably prevents a move higher up but he controlled a ball over the top brilliantly and slotted it home into the bottom corner really well. After a year of watching Uche and Loft with their trampoline feet that was quite an eye opener.

28 a good age. His 46th goal of the season! Don’t care what level your playing at that’s ‘ phenomenal ‘ sign him up! 😅

What i meant was when we were desperate for a striker then yes i would of done but his record for me over the last few years has been full of injury etc so no i wouldn't take him now,what would your reason be for having him now and using up the striker wage on him,just interested sell him to me

Well to be fair we’re desperate for a striker now 😂 yeah his injury record isn’t great & that’s the issue at his age. Probably more so for experience but as you say I’d rather us to go for someone younger who can stay fit. Rather him over Loft & Uche 🤣
