The next stage in his development now will be as he keeps performing like this sooner than later opposition teams at this level are going to start marking him out for special treatment.. If he can overcome that then that is a huge plus for him.

Alan Nixon also reporting the same thing. Apparently Jim Ratcliffe wants United to be at the forefront in snapping up any top young domestic talent so seems they are willing to do whatever it takes. Just as well we got Baylee on that 2 year pro deal now.

For Baylee's sake, let's us hope that he isn't injury prone. He has already scored more goals than Wilson's 2 in 9 England U appearances.

Let him keep us up before being sold for £10m plus and at least 25% sell on clause for when they sell him on to a far better club like Madrid or Man City.

Crazy what we do with youngsters now.

It's good for us that we've got him contracted for two years.

He could go to United and stay there 3/4 years and set himself up for life.

To be absolutely fair to Baylee he seems a really grounded, sensible lad.  So he may go and develope and still be motivated to make a career after that.  May even end up in the 0.00008% it actually works out for and get that career at a united or wherever.

On the whole though, that model and the way we treat our youngsters is awful imo.

I hope he goes and does tremendously well, ideally we get 3/4 great seasons from him.

But some of the stuff I've seen, even from mates of mine, is way ott.

I like him hope he can keep scoring big goals for Vale before moving to Man Utd Stoke I was reading on twitter the other day why would he go there they get rid of all there promising youngsters but allegedly one poster says Carol owes there owners 7 million so BD would cover that. 

Some goal that the other day let's have another at Northampton .

Probably seen 2/3 decent halves of football from him. 

The rest I've felt really sorry, angry even, that we've had to put him in the situation we have.

All of a sudden he's going man United.

I love picking up on people that do not have a clue.

Even though they are <ovf censored> and are the enemy, Stoke do not get rid of their promising youngsters.

He’s come on leaps & bounds of late. Absolutely thriving with confidence. Nobody could turn a move down for him to a huge club I’d like to see him develop even more with us for next season then get some big bucks for him
