What a mess

I wasn’t going to be then I still have tickets from the cancelled Peterborough game which I will have to go to and my nephew wants to see the Northampton one over Easter.

Fair play. I just can't handle everyone having the time of their lives in the stadium apart from Vale supporters anymore, my gallows humour has well and truely gone .
That goes for home aswell, but I'll carry on slogging my way thru that till the end of the season. Seems like the longest season ever atm

Can anyone on here explain the treatment of Lopata? 
 

When I’ve seen him, he looks like our most capable defender, then he disappears. Why is he not playing more?

He looks like a non-league player to me.

He was awful at Derby but then again so were the rest of them.

The result is a foregone conclusion. We're absolutely rubbish in every department. 

The end of the season can't come quick enough. Just get rid of as many of these current tosspots as possible. Pray that the ones that are under contract attract interest from somewhere, anywhere.

The club needs to start again from the beginning. New staff, new players, new ideas. And Flitcroft should be dropped off as far away from Vale Park as possible and told to stay the <ovf censored> away.

I imagine he only appears to be out most capable defender because he has had less playing time to show us his deficiencies. Whereas Smith has had 39 games to make mistakes in. Honestly the centre-backs we have all seem of a similar enough quality and I suppose Lopata being a loanee means there's no point in playing him ahead of players we have contracted for next season. Moore was a centre-back himself so you'd think that'd be the one position he'll know best on anyway

I would imagine he has told some Home Truths and you can’t do that Port Vale.

As some of us Fans have Found Out, the Club and a certain % of the Fan Base don’t like it, it doesn’t align and suit the Process.

I’m not generally one for conspiracy theories, but this has a ring of truth. He seems quite vocal on the pitch, and was certainly a stand out at Cheltenham.

If we don’t intend to play him though, why get him in at all?
