Thankful we have Carol as our owner who actually cares about the club unlike grubby conman Clarke Osborne who has no regard for anyone but himself and lining his own pockets destroying anything that comes his way. Vile man with a history of this sort of thing. Unfortunately he will no doubt get away with the same again.

I remember that they were sometimes a useful club in the lower divisions. Port vale had a very good defender in Clinton Boulton who was transferred to Torquay United.

Yes played Saturday night as their fans would be working in the hotels during the day on Saturday. Sometimes going into admin, isn’t as bad as what it seems. The business is at rock bottom so won’t cost as much for someone else to purchase. I hope this is the case for the Gulls.

Best memory down there is probably when Calvin Andrew scored with his arse. The matchball got kicked into our end and I stuck it under my jumper. Still have it in the garage. 

Hopefully they get sorted and we'll meet again some sunny day.

Happy childhood memories of holidays in Paignton in the 60's and getting my dad to take me to a mid week Torquay Lge game. Hope they get back to former glories, can understand why many Vale fans want them back in the EFL for a weekend away, lovely area.
