So what you are saying is that defence needs improvement and attack needs improvement- pretty much the basics of the game 😬

We have  conceded in most our games because of defensive mistake so obviously we need a better defence.

We haven't been scoring goals partly because of the way that we build up and also because we need to improve when attacking.

Partly down to injuries too

What else do you want me to say?

"It's all the managers fault"

Yes there basic points but what I'm saying is true

If we give Crosby longer we’ll have an exact repeat of the Askey scenario when we wasted the entire January window.

He’s had enough of a chance.

That's your opinion and I understand.

Who do you think should replace him?

(Someone we could afford)

Cambridge have just appointed Neil Harris who is a far better manager than Crosby, and there’s no way they’ve got a higher budget than us. Bristol Rovers got Matt Taylor. Cheltenham getting DC. Proper managers are out there and in our budget

I don't know why you are defending the un defendable, when you say you would have taken mid table and a qf in league cup. Will you change your mind at 5pm on the 23rd Dec when we could be out of the cup, and pending other results be in the bottom 4 on current form.1 in 13.

If you've seen the fixtures of the teams beneath us there's virtually zero likelihood of us being in the bottom four before Christmas. Technically possible, yes but extremely unlikely.

Equally long-shot (but possible) is we win one or both of the League games and beat Boro. Then we're looking at mid-table and two historic semi-final matches to look forward to. So the question is - would you change your mind then? Or would you want out a manager in mid-table and 2 games from Wembley in his first half-season as manager?

The physio department said they had a big workload and only capable of 45 minutes after completing 90 against Bolton.
Bring back lol hamlet, bucket of cold water and a sponge. Nowt else, no physio department and no endless streams of players having weeks and months off injured. I don't know how lol managed it but he bloody did.

I think, for whatever reason, our budget has plunged dramatically based on our recruitment on and off the pitch. I mean, there were decent managers around pre Crosby and any owner with any money would have sort out an experienced head first instead of going with the assistant who was part of the group that led to the decline in form in the first place.

Gareth Ainsworth, not because he is ex Vale. Because he is a proven manager at this level. Has shown he can get good results on a limited budget. Yes he blew out at QPR but most managers have one blot on their copybook. Also he tends to play a more direct style which is a little bit more exciting than at present.

I'm not to sure about ainsworth to be honest. Some of the videos I've seen of him at QPR are just not what you would expect from a manager. Just gonna have to wait and see.

I disagree the playing budget has been cut , even if it had , we still have an extremely competitive.

If you look at some of our signings they will be on good money for the division i.e Ripley,Sang , Ojo new contract, Uche, Loft, Grant

Have we spent it wisely? Obviously not up front.

If anything a surplus manager budget was probably put to other use which could explain why Crosby still has a job.

Form of the last 5 league games puts us higher up the pecking order tbh. 10 games is obviously very relevant, but 5 games is a better indication of if the form is turning for the better.
Don't get me wrong, the 5 games isn't great for form, but it is better than the previous 5 games.

In our last 5 league games we have won 1 drawn 1 lost 3

If you're saying we've got no chance of getting anything from Wigan or Wycombe we might as well give up.

Thankfully football throws up surprises and changes in fortune - l doubt many were predicting we'd score three times on Tuesday.

But the question was; If we win one/both of the league of games and beat Boro, would you still want AC gone given where that would put us in the league and Cup?
