Fair point. That's exactly what me and my mate did when we did Morecambe couple of season, luckily had a mate who was studying there at the time. Lancaster isn't a bad place as you say.

Sadly for the reason Mcphee4Scotland said, I'm not that excited by the release of this year's fixtures.

 

Torquay and Rochdale away are the only two I'm looking forward to. Given the loss of Crewe, Shrewsbury, Bury, Macc and others in recent seasons it is nearly a dead cert that Rochdale away will be a Tuesday night game. Chesterfield will be a good game if we are doing well when we play them away.

 

Other than that, my prediction is we will play every team twice in the league, once home, and once away hohoho aren't I funny!

I've heard Richards wants to come back and take it though!!

 

I don't think there will be any penalty considering bob young said it would all be sorted by the end of this month.

Indeed. My daughter will start her Law Degree at Lancaster this October. I'm hoping to embarrass her when Vale play Morecambe. Fleetwood, York, and Rochdale deffos for me.

Not sad to lose Crewe at all......sick and tired of filling their coffers season after season.

 

Some reasonable away games providing they are at the right time of year, Torquay, Fleetwood, even Morecambe. York will be a nice weekend away. Northampton's always a nice trip to see family and we enjoy a good pint or 3 in a local village pub.

 

Won't be long now and the Euro's will keep us ticking over until the 18th.

im on about the league fixtures. it alternates every year. we were at home first game last year meaning we are away this time.
