It is now up to Micky Adams and Keith Ryder to convince him that we are a club going forward.

 

To be honest Paul in the last 5 years wolstanton utd have been run better and still he's been loyal and stayed at vale park so I'm certain Micky and Keith will convince him the place is here for twelve months at least.

When I spoke to George Andrews last week he seems to think Rico will leave in the summer.

 

George Andrews told me Mark Kinsella would never be more than a 4th division player when he was at Colchester infact he was an average none league player with no prospect

he will never be short of clubs after him. Top 6 league 1 / bottom half Championship striker. I seem to remember people on this website wanting us to release him / not get him back into the first team after his injury earlier in the season

 

He's not a championship striker, neither is he a top 6 League 1 striker. Do you not remember him in League 1 for us? It took him until March to score his first goal... He could possibly play for a mid-table League 1 side like Oldham.

Rico has gone, and for me so has Griff, it's just a matter of time before the news is announced. If Im right Rico has gone to what could be one of our rivals next year. Griff I believe may be on his way back to somehere closer to home.

 

What have you been told? Which club? Why would he leave now after being so determined to stay in recent times?

Reading between the lines...a team relegated from league 1...Rico is settled so pretty local...chesterfield?

I'd say he's improved since then. Not enough to tempt clubs with money to splash mind - but some club which could increase his salary and is within his travelling range could tempt him.

I think RICO is off Northampton and I've said it since Saturday.

 

Don't know where they have got their money from but it's a huge wage for league2...

 

Very doubtful I'd say....he'd turn his back on Crawley and Shrewsbury (for now) to go to Northampton?

 

If we could even slightly improve on what he is on now he's ours unless a higher league club comes in for him surely :unsure:
