No he hasn't actually, less than 2 years of service? I would say between £1200 - £1300 if I assume a salary of £75000 and 2 years service. Not taxable, so it will keep him going for a few weeks only.

It looks like Deakin lied unless the letter was sent to fellow directors and they have failed to produce it. I guess the administrator can't rely for legal reasons on statements allegedly made by Deakin in the media about his leaving.

 

I have never really looked closely at the role and work of administrators, but it concerns me that the pressure is on to sell the business asap and that means the time available and perhaps the will to go after the wrong doing past board members is constrained.

Is it true that when he negotiated his notice period at the turn of the year, and decided to stay until March, he received all of his salary up until the end of March as a lump sum? Somebody told me that although I've got no idea if it's true.
