Is it true that when he negotiated his notice period at the turn of the year, and decided to stay until March, he received all of his salary up until the end of March as a lump sum? Somebody told me that although I've got no idea if it's true.

It looks like Deakin lied unless the letter was sent to fellow directors and they have failed to produce it. I guess the administrator can't rely for legal reasons on statements allegedly made by Deakin in the media about his leaving.

 

I have never really looked closely at the role and work of administrators, but it concerns me that the pressure is on to sell the business asap and that means the time available and perhaps the will to go after the wrong doing past board members is constrained.

 

You'd think the company secretary would surely have a copy? More lies covered up. makes you wonder if Oliver would have 'resigned' in the press at the AGM but still held his position through the back door as it seems Deakin was doing.

I dont think that we will EVER find out the full truth of what has been going on.But lies and incompetence must be involved somewhere along the line.

I'm guessing his resignation letter ended up in the shredder, along with copious amounts of other paperwork.

Actually I've started to feel sorry for PD. He's a broken man, he did apologise in his interview. And his explanation for what went on was very plausible. He did make great efforts for PVFC on the commercial front. He was just a man in the wrong place at the wrong time. Now he's ruined. I feel for him.
