He is right in what he says he could well not be part of the new owners plans (assuming we get new owners). Personally I am prepared to see what alternatives come to fruition. There will be alot of managers looking for clubs at the end of the year!

Quite sensible views to be honest when you look back to what happened to him at Swansea and Brentford when those power mad owners Al-Fayed and Noades (who even made himself Manager) came in and booted him out despite him doing more than a decent job.

 

Of course it's short term when football league managers tend to last less than 2 years on average and a new owner may come in with his / her / their own ideas and candidates.

He is however a bliddy good football manager.

 

I think any new owner needs to give him an opportunity given the high regard in which Micky is held by the vast majority of the fanbase.

He certainly took Sheff utd "to where they needed to go".:rolleyes:

 

Hes the best we could hope for under V2001 but they are history now thank goodness so perhaps any new owners may have more ambition and some actual money to fund that ambition. There are many top quality managers out there without jobs currently - some of whom were sacked for getting there clubs into the top6.

They were a lost cause as micky had no funds and even fergie would have failed to keep them up.

The club needs a big clear out as the current squad and coaching staff have been under performing for a long while.
