Unfortunately we live to our means. You get bigger wages, you get a bigger house and with it a bigger mortgage. Petrol isn't cheap and a 60 mile round trip 6 days a week soon mounts up. Many of us on here will have been made redundant in the last few years and it's the uncertainty of when the next pay packet will come that hits the hardest. McCombe is still travelling from Huddersfield every day. Even if players have been sensible enough to save (how many of you were saving in your early twenties?) they won't know how long it will last. Hopefully now the Council deal will give some piece of mind till the end of the season.

I've heard from reliable source that Rico is on £2500 a week plus bonuses. However as poster above has already said with higher salaries often come higher financial commitments. You cut your cloth accordingly and higher wage earners experiencing sudden loss of income can be hit as hard as lower wage earners; it's all relative. Just hope this gets sorted out relatively quickly for all concerned.
