At the moment, there are no firm bids and the club is not up for sale.

It will only become clearer when something changes.

Nobody's going to show their hand until we really find out what the hell is happening with Miller and Deakin and the state they're leaving us in.

I think the Legal Beagle has said Mo's old bid does not stand now. The club has changed a lot in the last 9 months and therefore is probably worth a lot less to anyone. I think anything anyone puts from Mo#s website will be out-dated. I hope Mo puts in a renewed bid in the near future.

Thanks for the answers. However would it be possible to know that if Mo's previous bid had gone ahead would it have involved extra loans being taken out in the club's name and if so how would these have been serviced. The reason I ask is that it is becoming increasingly obvious that Mo's bid is the only plausible one out there. So I would like some idea what to expect.

They were to be directors loans, no servicing until the club could afford to service them.

Sorry to be a pain but what is a Directors loan as opposed to a normal company loan.

A directors loan is just that ,a loan from a director. In Mo's case his director's loan was aimed at paying off other loans which the club had so the only loan active would have been Mo's to be paid back when the club was making money or to be converted into shares which I believe would have preferable to him.A normal loan has to be paid back when required by the lender, miss payments then you end up with all sorts of ***t.

Is dave right n thinking that If mo put in a bid now,it would be likely that it'd get accepted by miller and co?

If true, what is stopping mo?

He would need to see the mysterious books before making a decision. When this trash are voted off at an EGM maybe we can start looking for people to invest.
