He's been ever present for them this season and they are top of the league. He must be doing something right.

 

He was part of the fabled 'try a new goalkeeper every week' period. Turned out not to be the best way to blood a new young goalkeeper. Who knew?

Boot, young lad, came in, did okay - but the boo boys were on his back from the off. After the Crewe game he was a broken man. We are Port Vale, we hate our own. Look at the number here who want to drop Smith, he's been one of our best players for the last half a dozen games.

 

 

Good luck to Boot. All the best to him. He was treated abysmally by our 'supporters'.

Agree toyahw, for some reason fans seem to rate players coming in to the club more than those we are developing that came through our own academy. We have a couple of good players in the side now who’ve come through in recent years.

 

Scott Brown, will someone come in for him at the end of the season such has been his form?
