Phil he has played in Europe against sides like Leggia Warasaw and in the Scottish league cup against teams like Livingston and Dumbarton. So he can play at a decent standards.

If TNS played against Vale from last season I dare say they would have beaten us.

The standard in that league is not as bad as people think.

 

I've seen a few games in that league, I would say it is Stafford Rangers standard, same as Scotland is below their Premier League. Doesn't mean he won't step up though. Mind you I don't think he will be first choice.

I do Phil his distribution is spot on and reads the game well. He is quick is what we have been missing at the back.

I’ve seen him a few times (albeit only on tv) and at that standard he always impresses me. But it’s a big, big jump from WPL to EFL.

 

The thing that surprises me is that I read he is quick, whereas I would have said that his dominant feature would have been his airial ability. But I would agree that he does read the game well. But it should not be forgotten that TNS are the only full time team in the WPL, which has to be an advantage.

 

But, without trying to put a dampener on things, the standard in the WPL is definitely lower than that of our own National League without doubt.

 

But as a manager, this is where you trust your judgement of a player.

 

Time and opportunity will tell.
