Welcome to them both hopefully along with the goalie they bring much need needed experience and aggression to the back line .

Think Aspo has took note of what we were witnessing last season and is doing his utmost move players out of there comfort zone .

Happy he is doing his work early just hope he gets what he wants in retrospect of players who can effect the games going the other direction and is hopefully looking at not just who aide popey but also a alternative who can come on for Popey .

UTV Welcome Leon and Connell.

Interesting, Connell's wiki entry is written in French, how strange. Anyway, he is worth a punt, he will not cost much and we have been interested in him for some time so he is clearly on our radar, and must have played consistently well for some time.

Leon should offer that wise experienced old head in defence that we need. Along with Scott Brown they give the defence much needed balance. I am sure that Smith, Gibbons and Montano will all benefit from their wise counsel.

Welcome to both

Good.

. Aspin could also bring in another centre half on loan and is keeping tabs on Kyle Howkins after the 22 year old impressed on loan from West Brom last season.

Makes me happy. Particularly as I thought he was older than that. 22 is no age for a promising centre half, he has 8 years to continue to improve rather than plateau earlier like a forward might.

As for completing the squad, I think he'll keep Montano at LWB so we need a LW replacement for Whitfield.

Those two strikers we've bid for, ideally Dennis, another attacking CM as competition to Hannant, and a top experienced RWB and I'd very likely buy a season ticket despite hardly being able to use it.

This is a crap tinpot league where doing the basics right, being drilled and physically fit enough to keep the intensity up for 90 minutes goes a long way towards separating the automatic spots from the no hopers.

I wasn't particularly impressed with our attempt at those three metrics last season, Carlisle at home for example was absolutely chalk and cheese in terms of composure and confidence between them and us, but with a full pre-season of his own design, him signing his own players and no more donkey Tonge in midfield, I am more optimistic than pessimistic that Aspin has the ability to deliver a good challenge at the top next year.

This will now be Norman's second attempt at trying to make up for his naivety and incompetence relegating us. A small percentage of the Hugill money invested into the team and marketing/fan engagement staff like Max McClellan to drum up the appropriate off the field atmosphere and he has an opportunity to finally get things right. I expect he's probably reading OVF quite a bit so Norman, ffs, give Neil and John what they ask for, do not interfere or get involved and try to buy any more Norwegian magic beans, sit back out of frame, reign in the swamp monster from backstabbing Aspin again, and enjoy a potentially fruitful season.

Agree with all of that.

Especially the part about getting Fradley into the nearest bin.

TNS have dominated the Welsh League for years and reached the semi finals of the Scottish League Cup. Good standard fair offering a realistic chance at L2 level.

Pair of promising signings. Both welcome for me.
