Don't dispute that mate but it has deteriorated over successive governments who just promise to throw money at it in an attempt to gain votes.

Its the governments that underfund it and put management into private hands without local democratic oversight that are the problem.

I think whatever funds are thrown at it will fall short of requirements because the system is decaying and decomposing. It need totally restructuring from top to bottom to serve the changing requirements heaped upon it.

I don't agree with any of it being privatised.  It needs to be fit for purpose.

Possible, although I suspect it would depend on who decides to run in both constituencies. If the Brexit Party/UKIP send a candidate in addition to the Conservatives, I think that will split the vote and Labour will get another small majority.

If they give the Conservatives a free run however...
