And yes, at times I did defend Norman because I've always been on the side of truth. If I felt that someone was lying then I would call them out on it. There was also a time when I supported Norman and I'll admit that I was supporting him way beyond the point at which some people had been calling him out.

But that isn't what you said is it?

The truth wasn't quite good enough for your needs (to try and attack me with some irrelevant rubbish) and so you had to make up that I supported him staying at Vale and that I had said that he had done no wrong.

You kept lecturing people about how politicians have lied and twisted things...

I was nearly pointing out that you are just as bad and you can’t really trust what politicians say (the whole point of my interjection on this thread). Much like you can’t trust what you say... your defence of your stance in Norman is a lovely parallel to the defence of politicians on their Brexit views.

Imagine my glee when you then started acting more and more like a politician, twisting the context of your words, linking other people’s comments to different questions to deflect from their meaning, making bold statements that are in no way related to your original views... ideally you would have just ignored me. But you couldn’t... it’s been quite delightful!

Picking out individual tid bit comments are one thing... but your tone and comments over many months leaned heavily towards defending Norman.

The people can view your posts and judge if you were pro or con Norman for themselves. If you don’t think you have anything to worry about... don’t stress!

I’m not going to post 3 months of your posts... people can go and look them up and judge for themselves if you were part of the Smurf Defence League. So I therefore submit to evidence the search button on this site... type “Norman” in the search engine and narrow it own to the poster by adding Regal Beagle in that field.

In the short term your own answer above is a start.... you use the weasel phrase of “I have always been on the side of the truth” to defend your defence of Norman.

Problem is that was your own truth... like having a go at people who stated that Norman hadn’t signed Ben Whitfield”... you can tell yourself what you want... but read your old posts, very defensive of fatty Norman.

You were not as forward as some (REP for example) who Definitively backed Norman... but anytime anyone tried to bring up Normans wrongdoings you Leor to his defence.

Mr Beagle... if you think your posts don’t show you up as a Smurf defender then you have nothing to worry about.
