Theres been some midfield triallists in this week, Kempster was one of those.

Lainton

 

Reeves

Calveley

Kelly

ADF

 

Turner

Middleton

Kempster

Benns

 

Angus

Forrester

 

Reeves and ADF at full backs is just giving them a game for the sake of it, I can't help but think the writings on the wall for those 2. In fact that whole back 4 is out of position.

What league were Moor Green in when we signed Ian Taylor? Or Rhyl when we signed Andy Jones? Most of the players in non-league (to an extent) have started out as a youth player at a league club, so some ability must be there.

Why not,how far down were Moor Green when we signed Taylor or Rhyl with Jones...at the end of the day there will be hits and misses at all levels of football,look at Wilson...i trust Aspin and Rudge to spot a good un at whatever level

One terrible example who barely played. I'm not unhappy with giving lads like this a chance I just don't think its the type of player we should be looking at in this window. We need experience and players who will know how to keep us in the football league. If we want to sign young unproven players then the Summer is the time to do it when they have time to bed in.
