I don't think we can put all the blame on Adams. Our players simply are not good enough. I was watching our cup game against Everton yesterday and crikey...what a difference. You simply can't compare the two sets of players.

 

Adams either signed the players or gave them new contracts. And has decided what tactics they play. I moan about the board, but they have been here 5 minutes. Adams is to blame in my opinion.

I might be still fuming from this performance today but some of the players hes signed and the way he plays Owen and Macdonald at the back i wouldnt mind if he ****** off.

Well yes, I suppose so but I still believe the players are not turning up half the time. At the end of the day he signed players that we could afford, perhaps not who he'd want. Again though, he should be able to motivate them to do their very best which doesn't seem to be happening right now.

 

Whatever the reason, if things don't improve mid table is all we can hope for and that's if we're lucky!

His only strength is motivating players. If he can't do that what does he have? And most teams in this

League have smaller budgets than us.

Not after todays performance Mellor, and also it looks like were haeding for another midtable finish at best.

 

Same players as the last two seasons and no real improvement at all IMO...

 

Add to the signings of Burge, Roe, Green, James..... Who have hardly kicked a ball between them.

Was hoping he'd resigned to the fact 3-5-2 does not work at home!!

 

Or that Yates, Griffith and McDonald will never make a decent footballer.

 

Perhaps Owen should resign as reserve team manager to concentrate on playing matters to hopefully improve his dreadful performances!

Not really he was only brought in to win the EGM. His return has been less than impressive but he knew he had no money then and he won't have in the future either. Wise move getting him on a three year contract with a vastly increased salary. Let's hope his fortunes (and tactics) change pretty sharpish.

I agree....and I hope his coaching staff learn to keep their mouths shut as well ,what was it Deakin said about staff talking to the the press?
