Well they should all be fit enough but collectively as a group in second half of games the intensity drops and then the anxiety and errors occur which then leads to many a game going the way of the team who quite frankly on balance of play dont deserve in what ive witnessed .

So we willc what Aspo Rudgie and Nogan and Brabin make of that and put it across that that 25 minute spell after half time is /was unacceptable .

If u listened to the excuses for sats defeat the main one seems to be they put so much into the first half that they ran out of steam in the second half so fitness is a big issue

How many of us cud tell our bosses that we are only doing half a week cus it's to hard to do a full one

Still am sure aspo wont swallow that one for long I wud double there weekly training prog and confiscate Popes fags

How many of us are professional footballers you turkey

Forrest Gump can run his socks off mate !

Exactly, see this is the age old issue with vale fans. Running about doesnt mean you are effective, in a lot of cases it means you arent where you should be!!

For a midfielder we should be looking at stats these days now we have the tech. Tackles won, pass completion and successful dribbles are what makes a decent midfielder. The best and most effective midefielders players should spend a lot of the game going unnoticed purely because they are in the right position, they havent lost the ball and they have passed the ball to another player. ADF is the prime example, runs everywhere but is always out of position, rarely scores, and I would hazard a guess at has a low pass, completion, low chances created (0 assists) and couldnt tackle a rice pudding. runs about loads though lol

Look at Leon Constantine, lazy looking player, didnt do much at all....apart from score 30 goals. Everyone loved Akpo Sodje because he ran his nuts off....half the time after his first touch

Its easy to say that its unacceptable, but on Saturdays game as an example, the first half we played with a good tempo and had a lot of space, but second half they came out to stop us playing with that same tempo and not give us the space. That worked from their point of view. So you have to take into account that their are 2 teams out there and we won't always be able to play how we want and that the opposition will always have a spell of their own too. So I don't think its all down to fitness at all, we replaced the tiring players in the midfield for fresh legs and we also still had the full backs getting high up the pitch late in the game putting crosses in.

Yes. The problem is ability and confidence. People seem to want to believe that the players just need a kick up the backside and we'll start winning games. The terrifying is that they have tried their best and got five points from 12 games. Quantity over quality in the summer. Unforgivable.

Apart from that we're OK.

I think most teams have twigged that if they put two banks of four behind the ball then we will give up trying to play and go long, such as the second half on Saturday. It's in those situations that we need a bit more quality on the ball and players who are brave enough to not just hoof aimless long balls up towards Pope.

I think most teams have twigged we are ****. Can run around a lot and play a bit for the first 30 and hoof for the last 10, but if they stick with their plan.. with their superior players they will win. This is the way our home games have all panned out this season so far.

Most teams have twigged that 4 5 1 is the way to beat us.
