Id send all loanees back bar denton. Id only keep Smith, Gibbons, Reeves (needs to be out on loan though), Worrall (though needs to drastically improve but at least we know he has it), Pope, turner & now im struggling,

 

Squad is lacking true leaders, pace, creativity, natural goalscorer, true wingers, strength, its possibly as poor a squad as we had last season if not worse & as bad as under sinnott & glover.

 

Whoever comes in has their work cut out to keep this shambles up

 

It speaks volumes how bad brown was when he signs 8 wingers and we haven't got a true winger!

Regardless of whether this thread is a good idea (players/families do read this forum from time to time so I've heard), talking about yet another clear out 2 months into the season is madness. Especially when I've heard quite a few fans say that some consistency within the side & less changes would be good to see.

 

How is a squad supposed to gain any sort of loyalty or feeling for the club (whatever that is nowadays), when we're talking about discarding them after 10 games & a poor start? My guess is that right now, morale/confidence is rock bottom, & given a new manager with 2/3 wins, this would look a completely different side.

 

I'm not happy about the current situation at all, but I think talk like this is more demoralising than anything, rather than a kick up the arse. A 'prove me wrong' attitude is okay when it's the odd player in a bit of a rough patch, but not when it's the entire squad at the bottom of the league.
