The Kidsgrove game will be chaos. The Kidsgrove/Clough Hall carnival is on the same time and day. Good luck trying to park!

 

Is there a seperate car park that is reserved for Kidsgrove Athletic spectators?

At the moment we have 21 pros, not including Yates as he hasn't signed yet but he will. Taking off spare keepers and injured players we can't fill the bench. Certain to be some trialists involved. The bottom list of games will be the youth team.

 

Wonder if Boot will play out field again?

Yeah think it's the 3. Goes through Burslem etc. Only take about 20 mins depending on traffic, probably not even that morning/midday Saturday.

Gutted the Newcastle Town friendly is on a Tuesday.

 

I usually go that one every year but can't make it on that day!

Shame for Castle Town too as i reckon you can knock at least 300 off the gate were it a Sat or Sun as it always has been.

Sorted it so I have Tuesdays off now, but it's still a bit of a pain. Usually attracts a decent crowd to raise some money for them too, not sure why they couldn't have put it on a Sat this time.

I was a little surprised it was a night game, in the past I've always enjoyed a few scoops after the match when it's been a weekend fixture.

 

On the bright side I do live behind Lyme valley so its a 1 minute walk.

 

If anyone is struggling for parking I have room for around 4 cars. PM me if needed.

Number 3 bus only goes to kidsgrove then it's about a 20 min walk to the ground. The closest bus you can catch is the 4a bus which you can catch from Hanley bus station festival park or Newcastle bus station drops you off near the fire station just a round the corner from the ground.

What parts of the ground will be open for the friendlies at Vale? Lorne street and maybe Bycars? Can you pay at the turnstile or do you need to get a ticket from ticket office then go to the turnstiles?

Nearly always the case with the stands, only time I've ever been in any different was when we had 7K for Man U in 07/08, opened the Paddock. I've had to buy tickets every time & then walk around to the turnstiles, I haven't found any information on that yet though.
