This is all so ******* embarrassing. I am done with Vale, the chaos will never end, when the new owners step in someone will do some digging and we start all over again. We all deserve better but I can't see it happening. It was fun while it lasted.

It does get depressing to be a Vale fan, we don't even have a great history to look back on. PVFC have seen other clubs enter the league and gain top flight status and even win cups. WE are just stuck with jokes of owners and a load of apathetic fans who seem to think we are the smallest football club EVER, sp therefore can't have a new stadium, can't have modern ticketing systems, can't invest on the pitch properly, we are where we are kind of thing. I think the club will just end up slipping into the national league and that is it.

Shame, The two Billys never wanted sell to anyone with ambition then this ****** Smurf who could have built something better was just in it for himself. Never mind at least we will be able to boast the best non league stadium. Even if the club does rent a poor stadium as it will be.

I said last night I doubted whether anything really was going on today, I have a feeling many posts have been heavily alcohol-fuelled.

Of course, to balance that out for those that love a bit of conspiracy, any meeting between interested parties and club owners could easily take place elsewhere, and saying it was at Vale Park would be a spiteful but not unlikely way of making people go there to see.

I still think the relegation issue will have to be decided first - not least as it affects any price involved if the buyers have a brain cell between them.

Norman was at the club at 11 am.

Norman could make himself very popular and become a Port Vale legend.

He could install plan C. he could still get the club into the Championship which was and hopefully still is his ambition.

He would have to write off the Loan to the club, and give the manager (whoever that might be) next June/July sufficient finances to gather a team of good quality footballers capable of bouncing straight back into L1.

Season ticket sales would reach record heights. Attendances would soar and Port Vale would become the successful club that we all want. Simples.

We have seen other clubs do it. Sometimes a relegation kicks them up the backside. What you are saying Smurf could do it exactly what no previous Vale owner has done.

I know the finances are very different, however people only have to remember that Coates used be hated at Stoke way more than Bratt or Bell were at Vale. Or Smurf currently. You'd never now now though would you. He amended his mistakes.

Sorry to burst your optimistic bubble...............No chance whatsoever with Charlie Caroli in charge.
