Another poor Smurf decision

Iron Curtain

So you would have seen a profitable company that makes money year on year and has increased in value enormously over the years.

They don't have the money to buy Port Vale. You put your eggs in there basket like you did with Bill Bratt and co jean

Can you give me the stats on his assists please stato ?

Would we have played with 10 men had we not signed him? Team pre Hughes was doing quite nicely.

You are trying to say that Smurf got us promoted. You are failing miserably in proving that over and above giving your opinion.

Having assets is one thing, how much can be realised, or does Smurf want to? There is no point in wasting money it needs to be spent wisely by business experts, take advice on how much is required to fund the club and let the CEO run it.

Ah come on Jean, York away we were on the back of a horrific run and he was galvanising the players, leading from the front, and grabbed the 2nd. Might not have been the gamewinner, but it was his whole effort and leadership.

Gills away he got the 2nd in a very tight game on his debut. Burton was a magical individual performance. 2 goals at home to Accrington in a 3-0 win.

Hughsie stepped up when Pope, inevitably in a 46 game season, had a dip, and was a fantastic leader and experienced head in a nervy run in. We'll never know for sure, but I would bet we wouldn't have been promoted if it wasn't for his signing.

We'll never know will we - but you have claimed categorically that Norman buying him (it was Wildes actually, Norman had nowt to do with it other than give a blank cheque to a bloke who proved to be totally irresponsible with his money) got us promotion. My point is that the team were doing very well before Norman, Wildes, Hughes and the rest arrived.

The horrific run before the York match was seven games without a win wasn't it? All with Hughes in the team?

No I am not saying smurf got us promoted at all, his money funded a good signings that helped get us over the line, that I thank Norman for

But he put that money in as a loan... and now is demanding it back. So he didn't really give the vale the money did he?

I think Norman has now appointed a CEO, I think he will say regardless of what division vale are in, there is the budget and let the the CEO and who ever is the manager get on with it next season. I just hope the CEO spends it better than Norman has wasted it this season

I'm not putting my eggs in anyone's basket - I'm simply pointing out that there are other interested parties. There are, I'm led to believe, several hundred Norwegian businessmen with money to burn who want to buy us. They are another few dozen in the USA who are prepared to take us on. There were other bidders when we went into admin - are they still interested? Who knows.
