I repeat. We had more points per game that season before he took over than after.

We dropped a place.

So that another blanket statement of yours that has no fact or basis. It is therefore your opinion and hold little weight in your argument.

I repeat Lee Hughes goals in the second half of the season played a massive part in securing promotion

A failing business, the same business that one man keeps afloat, if Norman chooses to waste his money keeping it a float then so be it, I don't recall any HMRC winding orders been issued (apart from some ludicrous one 2 years ago) the players and suppliers not getting paid ? I think Norman needs thanking not hounding out, yes made mistakes, mistakes I may add that are costing him a personal fortune!
My concern is attracting players, manager etc adequate for a competitive team, whether his CEO and commercial staff are funded to grow the business, or even to stay/

I would look to Micky Adams falling out with Ryan Burge and Sam Morsy as something to do with the dip in form

Norman is clearly a hard man to work for, vale have had 4 different commercial managers since he took over, 4 different managers. He is here to stay in my view

They didn't actually. In only two games did any of his goals make a difference to the result.

Ah come on Jean, looking at statistics in such a narrow way (games in which his goal was decisive) isn't representing his contribution fairly at all. York away we were on the back of a horrific run and he was galvanising the players, leading from the front, and grabbed the 2nd. Might not have been the gamewinner, but it was his whole effort and leadership.

Gills away he got the 2nd in a very tight game on his debut. Burton was a magical individual performance. 2 goals at home to Accrington in a 3-0 win. For a man with only 30 games and around a dozen goals he etched himself into Vale fans memories for years to come pretty quickly.

Hughsie stepped up when Pope, inevitably in a 46 game season, had a dip, and was a fantastic leader and experienced head in a nervy run in. We'll never know for sure, but I would bet we wouldn't have been promoted if it wasn't for his signing.
