Just tell them you don't want one,it's not compulsory.

It's costing over eleven billion to do the uk and it's been billed by the energy supply criminals as free but that cost is being included in our fuel bills if u av one or not I suggest we watch the documentary and hopefully they will expose the truth

The invisible cameras are quite clever.

U can joke all u like but the technology is capable of cutting your supply off without the need for an insure visit . It can also monitor so accurately it would be easy over a period to calculate when your property is unoccupied . Cue a visit from the house emptier OR to use the more familiar term BURGLERS

In the same way as when you haven't been online for a while, or where you are on your mobile phone. Are there not rules about cutting supplies off that could affect health? Have not seen the program, but I was lead to believe it was self-financing as meter readers would no longer be required and it would be easier to switch suppliers, and would be done as meters reached their working life. I even tried to have mine changed but was told not in the range.

I told my supplier months ago that I will never have a smart meter.

Many people in U.S.A. say that sleep and health gave been affected when the meter is situated near or on the other side of a wall where they sleep. They have tried in vain to have the meters removed, for the fuel companies are not complying.

Surely everyone pays wether you have one or not as the tariffs don't differ for those with one and those without.
