Still without a win in spite of scoring in the 2nd min, and also the 4th min of injury time, the Dons popped 2 goals in between times this Wednesday night.

So I cannot see a great following of Sky Blues to the Hamil End, but still hoping for 5K.

Got to be Michael Brown for me, he is a very clever and inteligent player, my only concern would be playing with Tavares we might lack pace in the middle. I would like to see Amaros (sorry for spelling) with Brown in the middle. We will see...

Could Brown do 90 minutes now? Could be he plays for 60 and then subbed for Tavares (who I've seen play and like) or Amoros (who I haven't).

Even if he goes I can't see Coventry getting a new boss in before Saturday..... It's normally the appointment of a new boss that ends up with players improving to impress?!....😆

You can see what's coming here.... the league's top pin-up boy manager leaves Coventry having built a team capable of going 10 games into a season without a win despite having (on paper) some good players and their next game is at 100% home record Vale. Coventry can't buy a goal and we're having no problems hitting the net. All says a decent home attendance (at last) and a 3-0 away win for the Sky Blues followed by mega-griping on Radio Joke from Vale 'fans' who mostly haven't been to watch a match since Gordon Lee left and back to square one in trying to get these 'Vale fans' to actually attend home games again.

 

Please don't do this to me (again) Vale!!

It doesn't matter if he stays or goes. If he goes there would be a caretaker in charge not a new manager.

I think the way to go in replacing Grant is to perhaps give a couple of lads about 45 minutes each so their fitness holds up.

I wonder - as a one off - if Hart could do a job there, if Thomas is fit.

Up to now Bruno has used his substitutes very well.

Coventry once gave us a very miserable Xmas (1957) in Div 3 South. The week before we spanked Aldershot 6-1, making it 8 wins, 3 draws, 0 defeats at home. I don't think Cov were doing too well, so excitement was the order of the day. You guessed it, 25th Dec away lost 0-1, 26th Dec home lost 0-1 in front of a bumper 17,286 crowd. No wonder I did not forget it.
