That sounded very damning indeed.

 

The manager wont be travelling back on the coach and didnt travel with the players on the coach there.

Rico says the first they saw of the manager was at the ground, he named the team, a few heads dropped and a lot of things have snowballed today!

 

He also says maybe Ex will now want to go back to Peterborough!

Good. **** off!

 

The captain has not defended the manager once in that interview and stated fans pay their money so they are entitled to an opinion!

Mo has to get rid of Gannon. It really would be a bad start to keep a manager on that has lost the team, the staff and the fans.

Rico did well, was honest in his answers, things aren't right between the players and Gannon as they aren't between him and the fans, he needs to go on Gardening leave at least as he is becoming as hated as the board at the moment.

King Rico of Burslem conducted himself extremely professionally and answered questions as honestly as he could within his remit as captain. Gannon not travelling with the squad today should not be a surprise as he lives in the north west and so he would see it pointless travelling to VP, to go back up to Accy only to then travel back down to VP and then back up to go home.

 

However the abuse he and that lazy clown "Ex" recieved today has been of gannons own doing and been building for weeks.

 

Ive always been sceptical of Mo's bid however im now increasingly finding myself drawn towards supporting him, just because he will rid us of this scumbag Gannon.

That interview spoke volumes about the current sitaution and how the players feel towards the manager. There is only one way this will end so the board need to act now and not let it drag on.

He should be stopping in the George Hotel the night before an away game, travelling with the team to the game and then making is own way home after the match as finished and having done all his interviews/team talks.

Exactly. A player (captain or not) should not be the club's representative following that performance today (although full credit to Mark for being willing to do it).

 

Gannon was little short of being a coward today. Language that I did not accuse Glover & Sinnott of in those very dark days. Me personally can partly accept him not arriving with the coach under certain circumstances because he might live nearer to the visitors ground. What I cannot stomach was the cowardly way he kept away from Vale fans and that he could not be bothered according to Mark to go to the changing rooms after the game to ascertain what happened with Exodus and today's performance - outrageous! His actions are self preservation only and it wouldn't have surprised me if he phoned his Legal Rep up to take him home.

 

He should have had the guts to apologise for today; start to finish from the players to the fans. He won't because he is a coward!:ohmy::ohmy:

At least the coach could have picked him up on the way, and dropped him off on the way back. At least it would show the players he cared for them....perhaps not, since most were somebody elses.
