He should be stopping in the George Hotel the night before an away game, travelling with the team to the game and then making is own way home after the match as finished and having done all his interviews/team talks.

 

He lives in Stockport.what's up with pick him up on the way .drop him off on the way back.I suppose he would look a bit stupid talking to himself on the coach.If he has been in a car he can look at himself admiringly in the rearview mirror.what a tool.===

Sorry BLB, no offence intended, I would have expected them to arrive together, but I think more discontent is coming to light. I hope he is gone by Tuesday.

Personally I didnt think it was right of the club to make Marc Richards give that interview today. After such an inept performance, some truly bizzare tactics and team selection and particularly the ugly scenes at the final whistle it should have been the manager's job to make a statement. He spoke fairly well but what was interesting was his reluctance to back Gannon at any point, he said the fans had a right to have their say. As much as its interesting to know Gannon wasnt on the bus, is that information that should be in the public domain and if so who authorised Rico to release such information?

 

I love Marc Richards to bits but he was put in a very difficult position having to defend our worst performance of the season and comment on very volatile and sensitive matters that are beyond his remit as Captain. Were any directors not avalible for a post match comment about the geoghan incident for example?

I thought Marc spoke superbly in his interview. Difficult situation but handled himself immaculately.

A good interview and he conveyed a lot with the things he didn't say and you've got to ask just what does Gannon do for the money he earns.

I agree Spunkers, I found it equally damning that he didn't defend Goonan! Usually you'll hear a player quote all the cliches and say we're all behind the manager etc etc but nothing of the sort in that interview!
