We do not know if Johnson is guilty of the two charges of which he is accused and has pleaded not guilty. We do now know, however, that there is no question of the girl involved having pretended to be overage to get into a club where she was picked up as some assumed earlier. Johnson may or may not be guilty of these charges but there is no doubt he is guilty of being a complete and utter fool who has thrown away his career and will spend the rest of his life on the Sex Offenders register for the offences of which he has pleaded guilty. I hope he thinks it was all worth it.

quite agree but when a tasty meal is put in front of you some find it difficult to refuse.

I think it's quite surprising how his partner seems to be going to court with him & supporting him. I'm not sure if my partner did that I'd be as supportive.

 

I'm of the opinion that he is guilty & knew exactly what he was doing was wrong, read on their forum somewhere that the Echo reported his phone was apparently seized and his internet search history showed that he had been looking up the legal age of consent etc.

 

She is a child yes, and there should be no blame placed on her. Children often do stupid things, & as it has been mentioned numerous times in the thread, that's why laws are there to protect them & also prevent them doing certain things, as they are not old enough to make responsible decisions.

 

Either way, I very much doubt he will get back into football now. For one, I doubt many players/staffs would want to work with him, let alone clubs sign him.

It's called self control & morals, which you are supposed to have developed by the time you are an adult.

what I mead tommo is that if you are brought up properly and know what the difference is between right and wrong then you don't chance your arm so when you are told Don't bring disgrace to this door, then you tend to be careful.
