...At least we can have a decent day out on Saturday in a good drinking town. I'll defend Rob Page, which doesn't make me a Page-lover or a Page-hater.

 

I like what he's trying to do with the team, and no-one can tell me we are not 100% more interesting to watch this season.

 

The Sheff Utd, Southend and Posh games were 3 truly exciting games.

 

Remind me, how many managers achieve a promotion in their first season or two in charge?

Very poor. 2-1 down and just kept launching it towards the smallest front line in the league. Never caused any problems apart from the one time we strung a couple of passes together.

I dont suppose that you can blame Page there are only 92 managers jobs and if he was confident in his own abilities then obviously he will take the job, the main problem as far as I can see is the alleged Smurf signings that situation is just farcical.

How about a little patience, and realisation that we started the season with the 2 best players from last season injured, lost Ryan Inniss, now we have Andoh injured tonight, plus other problems. Despite this there has been progress, and getting a new manager in now would be an insane disruption that would ruin everything.

I'll be pleased when Page finally gets the sack! Patience? Does that include the 1 win in 11 at the end of last season. Anyone with any footballing knowledge can see Page isn't good enough and extremely lucky to be in a job.
