Today's games

Quite a few games of interest to us today.

 

After last week, we seem to have spurred Bradford on as they are now one up at Oldham who've only conceded 3 before today.

 

Walsall, another team that's only conceded 3 are also losing - 0-1 at home to Bury.

 

Rochdale, the other team with a better defensive record with us (just 2 conceded) seem to be well on top at Fleetwood but Sky says our old friend Calvin Andrew has just missed their only chance of the half - surprise, surprise :)

Southend beat Posh 2-1 to go level on points with us and Blackpool lead Scunthorpe 0-1 at HT.

Crwho 0-0 with Swindle at HT.

Will be nice to look at the table with us having a game in hand tonight , felt like we never had that last season

We need to be wary of Wigan next Satdee, looks like they are really picking up.

 

Good to see Blackpool win - 25 game streak without a win ended today. They are going through the ownership agonies we went through and their supporters deserve better. Hope they do OK, apart from when we play 'em.

 

Five point gap now to play off places - early days, I know, but we need to crack on!

To see Crewe at the bottom of the league is a good sign. :). Great to see Blackpool win their first away win in 17 months. :).

Pope and williamson were both on the bench for their teams. Former Vale target Tom eliott was on the scoresheet for AFC Wimbledon.

Omar bogle has already scored 5 goals for Grimsby Town. It should be interesting to see how he does at Grimsby. If he keeps scoring maybe Vale might want to try to get him again. He seems a decent prospect. Rob page did say he was keen on signing some more non league players with huge potential and talent :).

Strength in depth, I suppose Wigan are still living off their Prem money, could be front runners, brought in 3 players last week.
