Final deadline for Greece?

Greece has until Thursday to present new proposals to secure a deal with creditors and the Eurozone has called a full EU summit for Sunday.

In Brussels,Greece has been given an ultimatum,either there will be a deal or Greece and its banks face the prospect of going bust on Monday.

Oh how hilarious, that really is a stupid ignorant post and you should be ashamed of yourself when some have died of hunger and lost their homes and jobs, suicides have taken place due to the plight the EU have forced on Greece. Thats out of order.... The people responsible for the problems in greece are the government of greece and the people who voted them in.

Europe didnt cause the economic problems faced in greece, they have bailed them out twice with massive loans that had conditions, as all loans do,.. if you need to blame someone blame the guy playing brinkmanship with the economy and lives of the people, the left wing nut job running the country.... you may well feel sympathy with the people who are suffering but dont blame others for causing it.

Witty and to many people gets to the heart of what's going on thru that wit (satire I think they call it)..although I think Greece has brought a lot of this on itself and whilst the EU/IMF maybe lent to Greece somewhat irresponsibly it still enabled Greece to function.

 

The current Greek govt made a lot of promise that it could not hope to keep to get elected but for the Greek people we have to hope that something can be worked out..whilst keeping in mind that the EU and IMF has a responsibility to the wider community that contributes the bailout money.
