Whatever their beef with the Oystons, this sort of behaviour is totally wrong. Protests are one thing but by this, the fans are doing to the club what that thugs in Baltimore are doing to their community.

That's some comparison you make there....

Anyway Oyston has been laughing in their faces for years now.....he had this coming. Totally arrogant ********.

I don't disagree with what the fans feel. The comparison I made is not as regards the issue at stake. I just happen to believe that the law should be respected and the due process used to achieve change.

"Due process" has been tried and has failed them.

Sometimes extreme circumstances callls for extreme action. It tells you how bad it must be for Blackpool fans to do this - they're not generally renowned for being militant or troublesome.

Good on them after all a points deduction will make very little difference. It's great to see Smurf's mentor is running his club so well!

A points deduction now would affect them for next season.

It's strange one Blackpool as they took them through the divisions to the Premier and now because of fan abuse seem keen to take them to back to where they found them.

But a point's deduction next season(starting on -?? point's) or hefty fine could make a big difference.

I agree, they are not, but this is not the answer.

Feel sorry for Blackpool :(. I don't blame them going on the pitch today to protest at their chairman. He deserves it for making a mess of running the club.

Reminds me of the Bill Bratt and Co and Deakin and Miller days..

Black and gold till it's sold :).

Here is a thought ...... The fixtures throw up Blackpool v Port vale as first match of the season and Oyston is still there and their fans are still up in harms.

What would be the feeling of those Vale fans attending if their Blackpool fans got the match abandoned again ?

What might happen as a result ?

What if we draw them in the League Cup and it is also subject to a protest -

What would happen to Vale fans if they showed solidarity with the Blackpool fans ? (you know how the police love Vale Fans !)
