Whatever the rules it was a red card because the man with the whistle says it was... if every game had to be replayed because he made a mistake that affected the outcome of the game teams would be playing 5 games a week, 52 weeks of the year and seasons would never end.

Hideous error from O'Connor.....what the fxck what was he thinking?

Hideous refereeing....how can someone that fat keep up with play?

Uber-hideous substitution - seriously, what was the gaffer thinking in putting Williamson on?

That decision waved bye-bye to getting anything out of the game. Pope was winning and achieving very little, so we replace him with.....a headless chicken who wins NOTHING in the air.

How was him and Dodds ever going to produce anything? If Williamson had a role at all today, it was from the start when their defence were all over the place. As a target man, frankly I'd back my 9-year old niece to take care of him.

We know from experience that Campion will cause more problems that Williamson ever will, but once again Goldenboy Ben gets the nod!

Just as against Crawley, they were absolutely there for the taking and we end up embarrassing ourselves.

A truly shocking show in the second half, and we really weren't that good in the first. If we were, we would have been out of sight by then.

Well as you say Pope won nothing in the air all day ,perhaps Page thought Williamsons pace may cause them problems as Neither pope odr Dodds have any pace. i find it difficult to blame Page too much as the foundations for this season were laid by Micky Adams and he realised he had messed up and quit.

Why was it a stone cold red card? I have yet to have this explained to me.

The Orient reporters on the Radio said they thought the red was harsh and that the ref couldn't wait to get his card out, they described him running and fumbling to get the red out at the same time

Armchair pundit talking rubbish shocker.

The best ref I've seen this season was in the game we lost against Crawley - Kevin Wright. I actually commented on him after the game but I don't recall you mentioning it. Yesterday's ref did our home game against Yeovil, he was mediocre that day.

And with regard to your other post - I didn't do any research, my old man told me!

Indeed, they all agreed the red was very harsh. I notice in this morning's League Paper the incident is described as follows: "Dagnall rounded Neal and chose to fall over the grounded keeper, instead of rounding him." So who denied the goalscoring opportunity?!!

Look on the bright side at least that decision has got rid of one of vales biggest liabilities for a few games as we battle againt the drop

I'm no armchair fan, I have an ST, sadly my career comes first. Actually I'm more of a bed fan as I had to set my alarm for 2am to wake up for the game and then encounter the joke that is radio stoke! ;)

I did indeed comment on your comments on the Crawley ref, read back and I will graciously receive your acceptance! ;)

Always check your sources, that's where KKKarl keeps going wrong :)

I said I didn't recall you mentioning it, I didn't say you hadn't done. You have to admit, REP, that trying to recall each of your three million posts this season would task the patience of the most ardent researcher!

An armchair fan is someone who comments on games they don't attend. You fall into that category. Barry has a season ticket in Perth but he has the good sense not to judge what he hasn't seen.

As I say I graciously accept you retracting those comments, we all make mistakes ;)

You may not be aware but this is no longer the 1800's, there are these terrific things called TVs and the internet which you can actually utilise to SEE such things, maybe you could invest in one or both to assist with your future research as it seems you are struggling slightly ;)

You could also ask the question should people who have not studied and passed an examination be the best qualified to assess those that have?
