No, I haven't bothered reading all the posts in this thread. I've had a drink and am too p****d off to write something constructive!

We were sh**e and if Mr Pope doesn't like that, he can take my comment and shove it where the sun don't shine

Tomorrow, I might actually post something more positive and constructive, though after watching that tonight, I doubt it.

I'm sure Tom is absolutely fine with you saying that, seeing as he has stated that his issue is not with comments made on forums but with personal abuse PMd to him. I also imagine that as a Vale fan, he's as ****** off as we all are.

Colin, stop being a kn0b

Haha! People need to take what I say with a pinch of salt sometimes instead of getting so angry like Doha obviously did. It's a forum at the end of the day.

But why bring Liverpool into it? I've never once pretended to be a Vale die hard or anything like, and for me personally there are now far more important things than football, be it Vale or Liverpool. But I attend more than enough Vale games to be allowed my own opinion, even if I get some facts wrong which I will always hold my hands up for, without having some little **** ant on the internet trying to patronize me.

Looking at the table tonight, for those people who still think we have an outside chance of a play-off spot, we are 8 points above the drop zone. If Orient win the game in hand, Crewe will be back in the bottom 4 and we will be 6 points, still a lot to play for. It's looking this year like you will need 52/53 points to stay up and with Sheffield, MK Dons and Preston still to play, don't feel we are by any means safe.

I've ben saying the same and been told to pull myself together, it's just being realistic, this season there are too many similarly placed teams points and abilitywise so anyone of 8 could be sucked into the drop zone and all are running out of games.

You love making friends on this board don't you.

Frankly he's proven you totally wrong and you resort to insults.

Yeah, let's just ignore the usual and completely unnecessary Liverpool nonsense he also posted eh, you weapon.

I really am struggling as to where the next win will come from. The last win without Innis in the team was against Peterborough back in mid January. 3 teams in the top 5 still to play, can't help but thinking if these next 2 away games go against us, Colchester will become a massive game for us. Surely we are capable of getting the 5/6 points probably needed but after seeing that tonight it's not going to be easy.

It's easy to say in hindsight, but I didn't like the look of the team from the off. It now seems McGiven is the common denominator in some of our recent defensive horror shows and I'm afraid him, Duffy, Yates and Dickinson can go now for me as it would be impossible for us to defend any worse. Without Byron, it was ridiculous to drop Williamson and play with just Pope, we just become too slow and lethargic and lack any real thrust going forward. If anything, he should have dropped Pope, gone with Dodds and Williamson and put Lloyd on the wing. This is poor from Page at the moment, our home form has been dreadful as we are being completely outwitted tactically by the opposition. We never get anything from Sheffield so I'm writing off that game, so we could be looking nervously over our shoulders as I think we're still 2 wins away from safety. We definitely need a new management team behind Page if he does stay.....even in the warm ups we are doing the same things as 5/6 years ago because of Grew and Glover. We urgently need an injection of new ideas and enthusiasm and I personally would love to see Uwe Rosler in charge, as the Brentford team he got to the top of the league was excellent.

Every bugger was moaning about Williamson even being at the Club after Saturdays game, but now your blaming Page for dropping him.
