And heres another problem, smurf slagging fans off every five minutes, he wants to build the fanbase but then insults them....great business that is smurf! Theres no insult being thrown at your daughter....yet you throw insults & its not the first time including at corporate sponsors...what do you hope to achieve through insulting fans smurf???

 

If that is your attitude maybe you are best selling up & moving on??

 

Sell to who/whom - a British based mob from down south? A bloke in a Micra car? An Italian whose son is a true blue Vale fan? A Blue Sky dreamer? Who/Whom?

Dire turnout, burslem didn't even seem that busy around the pubs before the match. Big away days at notts county, cov and sheff utd next week didn't help.. Still gutted, expected abit of a buzz about..

If smurf cant change his attitude then for his own health, sanity & financial health he should look into it. For all the good he has done, attacking the fanbase for the upteenth time will never build the club.

 

Each time he speaks he sounds a little more desperate as though hes banking on fluking promotion to get the extra tv money. Id love the guy to come out & say something positive about fans....but when he attacks corporate sponsors as well then theres no hope!

He's openly said he would encourage investment, it's not there and I don't see many people in the world that would want to invest more money than the chairman.

Is it a dire attendance though? 4.5k Vale fans through the gate is about right isn't it..Smurfs got get real and understand we wont get more than that very often..

Next home game after Tues is good Friday against Colchester, so maybe Smurf can drop the price for that game to maybe a tenner??Could quite possibly get 7k if did that, just to get some ****** atmosphere down the Vale..

No you think he's doing that, I think he's incetivisining people, selling a dream and being realistic.

One of the big effects on today's attendance is with out doubt the performance against Oldham . We just seem to have an uncanny back of building up the expectations with some great performances bring everybody to the edge of there seats ! Then don't turn up for a game ! It really is frustrating to say the least . We need more bottle in the team a bit more drive maybe ! Players like Innis who are going to have there say on the pitch.
