There's only one direction this club is going to go now we have Glover back in a coaching role, and that's DOWN. We need players who are up for a local derby, and im sorry but we need a new management in that's going to make the players play for the club and the fans.

We certainly had enough chances to have gained something from the game but once again we've been too timid with a 14 year old kid in goal for the opposition. Whatever happened to ruffling up a few feathers, elbow to the ribs when he goes up the ball. You just wish in these type of games you could get your boots on and show the boys how to beat teams like Crewe but alas we can't.

In all fairness Garratt is quality, he will be the next Crewe lad to make the Premiership.

Tonight I don't care how many games we've lost since Page took over. All I care about is the fact Page's team selection has cost us against a **** poor Crewe side.

Page has done more than alright so far but let's be honest, he's very much of the Micky Adams mould, only without his experience. He has his favourites who only hold the side back. A major clear-out is needed in the summer, but haven't we been saying this for years now?

Awful performance, and terrible tactics and team selection from Page.

 

Wasted 15 minutes in the second half by not changing things, it was clearly not working. Why is Chris birchall playing? Just a lardy pie boy with no right to be on our pitch. Michael brown needs dropping, mark Marshall should not even be having contract talks based on recent displays.

 

Missed some golden chances, but no passion or grit in the team. Not helped by a god awful ref. why do we need this magic ****ing spray? It was funny the first time, but if it is going to result in a ref lining a wall up for 2 minutes he can spray it all over his own face for all I care.

just got back in, stuck it out until the 83rd minute then came away, a very poor game against a very poor team, crewe have the bragging rites and the points but nowt else.Port Vale what can I say apart from Neal was on form the rest well plenty of endeavour but no class, style or shape,the subs livened things up a bit but we just aren't good enough to progress, the players couldn't pass water let alone the ball,poor show all round.
