Nice try Cheeky. You do of course use the trains, so you do not qualify for sympathy where road delays, are concerned. However, I note that your whole day totals 12 hours or less. In that respect, you are quite lucky, as you do realise people who are not, like you, in the legal profession, are doing a total 12 days at work as well as additional travel outside of these hours.

I suppose though, with rail fares increasing you have a slight right to moan, but I suppose you will get subsidised by that, with what you receive from the government in Legal Aid!! I bet your wages cover the shortfall?

Maths isn't your strong point is it Carl? It's globally a 14 hour day; with 11 hours at work. I arrive in the office at 8 and leave at 7 most days. I drive to the station by the way. So it's not just the train I use.

Your second paragraph though; what on earth are you talking about? Legal Aid to subsidise train fares?!? Legal Aid is there to provide those without the necessary finances access to justice IE to bring a civil claim for damages; to be able to have representation in a criminal matter. How in the name of blue Jesus do you think it's possible for Legal Aid to subsidise travel costs? Your post above just goes to show that you have very little understanding of what you're actually saying and it all seems to be based on wildly inaccurate assumption.

Your final sentence is where the chip on your shoulder originates however. Wages; you have no idea what people earn, but you assume anyone who you think earns a decent wage has had it handed to them on a plate. Which in 99% of cases couldn't be further from the truth. It's down to effort, hard work, sacrifice and motivation. And is well deserved.

5 minutes' date=' do you live in a mansion and walk from East to west wing or walk with a zimmer frame?[/quote']

Did you know that the zimmer frame was invented (or patented) by a Latvian migrant to the US named Andrejs Muiza? Although it was a Mr Zimmer who set up a company to make them..hence the name. So without such migration millions of elderly citizens would be condemned to being stuck in their comfy chairs..howabaout that Nigel? :)

The 1% being the MEP's claiming full expenses and allowances! Who falls into that category...

Soooo...let me get this straight. You've moved on from complaining that basketball discriminates towards small people (a couple of years ago it was the lack of rowing clubs in burslem wasn't it), to moaning about people who only work over 12 hour days and claim legal aid for train fares?

Your chip has grown so big now that no matter what sports people play, what interests they have, what job they do etc, you will find something to moan and complain about. It's no wonder you've grasped hold of the current protest party who try to be everything to every man. I'm back to thinking this must be a wind up account again.
