Slate Page all you want but in fairness although not thrilled with the idea 11 points in 7 games is decent enough to get us climbing and we were down to ten in the fleetwood game. Maybe should be cut some slack.

I think some people need to remember that a new manager in charge often brings a honeymoon period, because the players work a bit harder for the new guy. It's clear that a lot of the players were no longer motivated by Micky and the fact that they seem to at least respect Page has meant that the effort has gone up considerably. While his results while being in charge have been satisfactory, they've certainly been no more than that and if Vale lost a few on the trot at some point, which we could very well do, I wouldn't put faith in Page to turn it around. We need experience and he has very little.
