Where's Bratty?

Stone Valiant

Recommended Posts

Given the comments made on this board and elsewhere, Bratt is in a fairly fragile state both physically and mentally. Allegedly.

He may well have been banking on the EGM vote to get him out of a situation that was driving him into the ground. When he was voted back in, in the circumstances in which it happened, it must have been his worst nightmare.

He could resign (and in my opinion he should) but I think pride is keeping him there. He needs a way out that would allow him to save face, and this may well be what he is doing - lying low, trying to come up with one. Whichever way it goes, I would be very, very surprised if he set foot in VP ever again.

sorry think you are wide of the mark if bratt wanted out why the last minute rush to get votes ,hell he could have voted against himself that would have done it.

no bratts still living in dream land ,still beleives his own press that the fans love and want him, bratt is here for the long haul and we are going to need a ****** big crowbar to shift the bugger

If it took a monumentally imaginitive re-write of history to paint Bratt & Co. as the heroic saviours of the Vale who were finally standing down after securing our future, I could live with that.

If they are looking for an honourable way out, give it to them.

He looked broken on the U tube clip of him leaving the room at the EGM, my FIRST THOUGHT WAS why NOT RESIGN and save himself the deserved abuse he's getting. The answer I recon has been the same since day one, the answer is in the books and THEY are getting a good old looking at starting next week are they not Bratty!?.......:yes:

I do think that behind all the lies, the back-stabbing, politics and reterick of what is a 'condemned' Port Vale lies a passionate Port Vale man.

I do hope Bill goes with dignity, for everything he HAS done many years ago, I personally think he deserves that.

He has fronted up and shouldered the blame and yes been a part of what can only be desribed as 'betrayal of the highest order 'with regards to fellow fans and the charter of V2001.

I do believe his passion and naievity has at times put him in the firing line, bare in mind how many of the other self-confessed fans on the board have put theirselves forward?
