Aspin plays hoofball football.

Even though he has produced promotions his popularity is very much divided with the halifax fans.

Do we really need a clone of Micky Adams?

Look, Micky has gone and i for one am very disappointed but its happened and so we move on. However, appointing a manager so similar is just bonkers in my opinion. And as for Robert Page, im of the belief that if Micky has walked then so should he.

He was promoted to the assistant manager and given a bigger role. Surely he has to take part of the blame as well?!

Now is the right time to get in a young manager who can bring in his own sidekick, who play football the modern way and who are hungry for success.

The favourites for the job so far are not better than what we have just lost in my opinion.

That's what I'm worried about with aspin we've got a chance to move on now so we need to take it

Why would Rowlett come, doing well at Burton and refused Blackpool the other week I think. We could be in for a rocky ride, we wished MA gone and now he has

Perhaps because Blackpool like Leeds are a mess and unworkable.....Port Vale are a much bigger club than Burton Albion with Championship ambitions

And are already in League 1 the division that Rowlett hopes one day to get to as a young manager.....one problem though would be compo for any in work managers.....the stand out unemployed manager is Brian McDermott who after the insanity of Leeds might just want to join a family club with ambition and build based on a philosophy of good football with the aim of Championship football without the headaches and interference......Port Vale

Are a great project for a forward looking manager......just imagine Brian McDermott having a development squad and the kinda young team that McDermott would surprise the Championship with in a couple of seasons.

I was kinda with you until you said we are a family club. We are most definitely not a family club.
