It's too hot for buying season tickets, and there's no air-conditioning in the ticket office.

 

I'm not buying one until Patterson signs.

 

I'm still angry about how we played in the Sheff Utd game in April.

 

We should never have sold Beckford and Earle.

 

I'm not coming back until the Lorne St is finished.

I hate MA. He took my ball off me & wouldn't let me play.

 

I had to pay Cheeky 5k and now I'm skint.

 

We've signed some quality players now & I can't think of owt to moan about.

Excellent days activity in the pre-season transfer market. Possibly the best for many a year.

 

 

If you possibly can.... Go get your tickets!

 

Thing is, had some people had a little faith they could have got their season tickets in April for a much cheaper price. I can't believe some thought we would start the season with a squad of 11 players and no physio.

I think that Smurf needs to experiment with the walk-up price. Walsall is a very good opening fixture, and Notts County and Chesterfield are also not bad, yet I'm not convinced that people will pay £25/£26 on the day or book in advance. I also think the Flex10 price is too high.

 

In my opinion, £20 is a barrier that makes people think twice about going. Might it be better to drop the price to somewhere between £15-18 and see what happens? Because it is not just about the turnstile money, it's also about what people buy while in the ground.

I'm pretty certain there won't be many takers at £25/26 a pop, especially away fans, I think we should have kept it the same as last season. I went to most of the away games last season and paid £25 twice(Swindon and Peterborough) and it does leave a bad taste in your mouth.

I feel a good push should now be made with a view to selling another 500/700 season tickets, even if it means selling them at May/June prices.

 

Smurf has pushed the boat out with the latest signings......he deserves backing.
