Does anyone would think it's appropriate, after seeing what a mess Loft's face is that 7 minutes into the game singing "one Doug Loft" may be fitting? Particulary because he's been such a key figure at Vale for so long and we have no idea if he'll be here next season? Thoughts?

I only thought 7 minutes with being number 7, and if everyone knew when it was to happen hopefully the whole stadium would have joined in. Didn't even think about Hillsborough

I see your point with 7 minutes and Doug being number 7, but as has been said it may not be a great idea.

 

How about right on kick off and then again just before full time. Fingers crossed he will still be here next season, but if he's not he deserves a good send off for his efforts and services to the club.
